A shared profile can be seen by anyone with its address. Your shared profile shows your display name, visited places, regional progress and approved public notes and reviews. Wishes, visit months, private notes and saved trips stay private. A review you deliberately publish on a place page can remain there with your display name when your profile is private.

Download your account, checklist, notes and saved trips as JSON. Pending changes are a separate download above. Password hashes, authentication tokens and security internals are not included.

Your account and data
Shaun Wilson Designs maintains Kentucky Distillery Guide. An optional account stores your email, password hash, handle, chosen display name, age and terms confirmation, checklist, visit months, wishes, notes, saved days and trips, and any reviews or reports you submit. Security uses expiring verification and reset tokens, session cookies and limited request records. The site never stores your plain password.
Your profile starts private. Your email, wishes, visit months, private notes and saved trips are excluded from shared profiles. A shared profile shows your display name, visited places and regional progress, plus notes you explicitly submit and have approved. Reviews you deliberately publish can show your display name on the place page even while your profile is private. Hiding a profile does not recall screenshots or downloaded cards.
WordPress runs the account backend on the existing hosting server. Cloudflare provides the site delivery and Turnstile bot checks. Brevo handles only requested verification and password-reset email, including your email address and a one-time account link. No marketing mailing list is created. Member information is not sold or used for paid placement or rating rankings.
Authentication uses secure same-site cookies. The browser-only checklist and plans stay separate until you explicitly import them. Pending account edits can be held in this device’s IndexedDB until they sync. Private account pages and API responses are excluded from the public offline cache. Sign out on a shared device and remove downloaded exports yourself.
Use My data to export your account or delete it with your password. Deletion removes active account data and contributions. Encrypted disaster-recovery copies are separate from the active site; if restored, deletion requests must be reapplied before reopening. For privacy requests use Shaun Wilson Designs contact. Never send a password or one-time link.
