Choose the right kind of visit
A tasting room and a production tour offer different days out.

Decide what to see
A production tour may describe equipment and whiskey making. A hosted tasting focuses on the spirits in the glass. A bottle shop may welcome walk-ins while tours need timed reservations. Check the named experience for the exact location.
Look beyond a yes or no badge
Children may be welcome on the grounds but excluded from a tasting. Dogs may be allowed outdoors only. A seated tasting may have different access arrangements from a warehouse tour. The practical note matters as much as the filter.
A useful example
Glenns Creek describes its standard Visitor Experience as a seated tasting and discussion, with a separate short walk-in tasting. The operator also offers a different private experience. Choose by format and time rather than assuming every option is a walking tour.
